There are many ways to get involved in the Theatre Royal from becoming a stage performer to gaining valuable work experience to becoming a sponsor of our work.  Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

Performer Member
Ever fancied strutting your stuff on stage or in front of the camera?  If the answer is yes, we’d love to hear from you.  Whether you are interested in Shakespeare or Shameless, there is a role for you, large or small, speaking or non-speaking.  Becoming a Performer Member gives you all the benefits of being a member of the Workington Playgoers with the extra advantage of getting you on stage.

Volunteer Member
Ok, so you aren’t keen to be King Lear but you are interested in being involved. There is a wide range of volunteering opportunities available to you.  Some could help you with your career, some allow you to pursue personal interests.
