In October 2014 Millie Hardy Sims brought a young group of fledgling players to the Theatre Royal and presented “The Lost Boy”, which she had adapted from a play detailing the life of J.M Barrie as he wrote “Peter Pan”…… and this was the start of The Second Star Youth Theatre . The play was designed as a week long project for young people during half term. Millie took on the mammoth task of intensive rehearsals with 11 young people over 4 days with a presentation to the public on the evening of the fourth day with a truly delightful result. These projects are now part of the Playgoers season and their public performances are designed to be affordable for families.
