- SPIKE DESIGN: 10 concave tungsten carbide spikes per foot with enhanced stepped lug design to provide directionally optimized grip on ascents and descents through soft snow. Center plate ridges effectively deflect uneven ice allowing spikes to engage faster.
- IMPROVED SECURE FIT: Integrated tow bail reinforces stress points and contours to variable footwear; now with increased size ranges available (US W 5- M 13+). Redesigned heel tab allows for easier stretching on and removal from footwear. Low profile rivet connection serves to provide enhanced comfort by minimizing pressure points by dispersing impact forces.
- ELASTOMER HARNESS & REINFORCED EYELETS: Patented reinforced eyelet design strengthens key stress points. The all-new elastomer harness design is strong, optimally lightweight and provides an improved all-around fit, especially in the heel. The elastomer is constructed from a durable TPE material that remains stretchy through cold temperatures, down to -22°F (-30°C).
