Celebrate Pride with an evening of creativity, community, and entertainment at the Pride of the Theatre Royal Open Mic Night!

Hosted by the fabulous Simone Hetherington this vibrant event takes place at the iconic Theatre Royal Workington on Friday 19th June 2026 from 6pm until late.

This special Pride-themed open mic night welcomes performers of all kinds — whether you sing, play music, perform poetry, comedy, storytelling, or spoken word. It’s a chance to celebrate individuality, self-expression, and the power of the arts in a warm, inclusive space where everyone is welcome.

Come along to perform or simply enjoy an evening of live entertainment, community spirit, and Pride celebrations. Alongside the performances, there will be special Pride cocktails available, as well as a full bar, so you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere throughout the evening.

With free entry, it’s the perfect way to support local talent and celebrate diversity in the heart of Workington.
